Outside

Selvira sits within a peaceful organic estate framed by olive and citrus groves. A private driveway leads to shaded terraces and a large dining patio with barbecue and pizza oven. A short path opens onto a wide lawn and a 12×6 m swimming pool surrounded by palms and flowering shrubs.

The property produces organic olive oil, citrus, and vegetables. Guests receive a bottle of DOP olive oil and a basket of fresh fruit, vegetables, and eggs. The estate also hosts goats, ducks, chickens, and a stud farm with Arabian horses.

Inside

The villa spans two floors, combining original stone architecture with modern comfort. On the ground floor, a large living room with six-metre ceilings features sofas and an old fireplace. Next to it, a bright dining room and a fully equipped kitchen open directly to the garden.

A cosy sitting area connects to a double-twin bedroom with adjacent shower room and a small study. From here, stairs lead to a triple bedroom under the eaves with private shower—ideal for older children. A second staircase leads to the main sleeping area with three double bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room.

The Area

Selvira lies 10 km from the ancient site of Selinunte and its beaches, including Triscina, Marinella, and the Foce del Belice Nature Reserve. Castelvetrano, five minutes away, offers shops and restaurants. The countryside is rich in vineyards and olive groves producing some of Sicily’s finest wines and oils.

Nearby attractions include the Cave di Cusa quarries and the fishing port of Mazara del Vallo, home to the famous Dancing Satyr statue. Within easy reach are Marsala, Segesta, Palermo, Erice, Trapani, and Agrigento’s Valley of the Temples.
