Villa Maraus

Villa Maraus is the home of the sea and the sky. The light blue frames the white villa: the sea in front – distance zero metres, the elegant and immense swimming pool in the park, the blue sky and the exclusive Jacuzzi on the terrace, facing the sea – ideal for breathtaking sunsets (the sun sets right there, in the sea, among the beautiful Egadi islands).

The villa is close to the flat cliff, from which you have easy access to the sea, just a few meters from an ancient watchtower of the 16th century. Entering you are in the large park (more than one hectare) with its beautiful paths that branch off among the white structures of the villa.

An alley of agaves and palm trees leads, in the end, to the splendid swimming pool (19 mt X 9 mt, infinity, saltwater and with Jacuzzi) with its large and inviting equipped solarium. In front of it the equipped gym (including a massage bed) and next to it the beautiful showers with chromotherapy and the comfortable porch – to relax in the shade and read, maybe, a book while sipping a fresh Sicilian wine.

The main unit, blue as the colour of the sea and the sky above it, consists of 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, the beautiful kitchen – which combines antique elements with minimalist lines – and the spacious living room. Then, on the terrace, the magnificent Jacuzzi, whose profile blends with the blue sea, to experience the pleasures of a bath, immersed in the infinity of the sea and the sky of Sicily.

Not far away, the unit with the colours of the sunset, like the sun going off in the sea in front, with a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, living room with kitchen and a sofa bed.

Finally, the last unit that pays homage to the wine-growing area of Marsala and Trapani with a charming living room that incorporates old barrels, the double bedroom, a kitchenette, a bathroom with shower and a sofa bed.

The sea is just in front, literally a stone’s throw away, open the gate and dive into the clear waters of the Sicilian sea. And if you prefer the sandy beach, already at about 300 meters begin the small beaches, to flow, about 1 km, into the white beach of Marausa – which stretches for about 3 kilometres and is characterized by white sand, shallow and temperate seabed and, of course, crystal clear water.

And then it’s all just a few meters away, bars, restaurants, dock boats, lidos, the picturesque Egadi islands (about half an hour by hydrofoil), vineyards and wineries, salt pans and windmills, Erice (among the most beautiful villages in Italy), Segesta and then, to you the pleasure of discovery!

Standard booking conditions include a minimum of 4-5 nights for villas and 2-3 nights for apartments. Different booking conditions may apply for specific properties or seasons. The bedrooms made available, where the number of guests is below the maximum occupancy, and in case of a reduced rate due to the lower occupancy, will be adequate for the number of guests to stay there.
