Sherbeth is back in Palermo indeed. It is the main event in the world dedicated to ice cream. It twill take place from September 28th to October 1st. Sherbeth means ice cream, sorbet and slush; but also workshops, cooking shows and meetings.

45 high ice cream professionals from all over the world will join Palermo for Sherbeth, coming from, Mexico, France, Germany, Portugal and Italy. The best ice cream masters in the world will prepare over 20,000 kilos of ice cream. Affordable prices for the tickets: 3 euro (tasting a cup + 1 mini cone); 5 euro (tasting of 2 cups + 2 mini cones) and 10 euro (tasting of 4 cups + 4 mini cones).

This year there is a special news on Sherbeth Festival: buying the 10 euro ticket, you will have the chance to taste a a local specialty in combination with ice cream, so a cold gourmet ice cream with a hot food of Sicilian tradition.

Sherbeth Festival is also supported by University of Palermo, in collaboration with Architecture and Agricultural Departments. Some topics on ice cream subject will be discussed during the talk shows, such as the importance of food design in pastry and ice cream and the new experiments on tropical fruit crops in Sicily applied to the art of ice cream.
