This villa exceeded every expectation we had. The photos are beautiful, but nothing compares to seeing it in person—it is truly breathtaking.

For anyone seeking a tranquil escape surrounded by mountains and overlooking both the Carini valley and the sea, in a convenient location between Palermo and the airport, this former monastery is an extraordinary choice. Its history and atmosphere make it a truly unique place to stay.

We also fell in love with Carini. At first, the town surprised us, but it quickly became one of our favorite places in Sicily. We rarely encountered other visitors, which made the experience feel authentic, and the locals welcomed us with incredible warmth and kindness.

The villa is perfectly positioned for exploring some of Sicily’s most beautiful destinations, including the grottos, the Zingaro Nature Reserve, Scopello, San Vito Lo Capo, Trappeto, and the ferry connections to Favignana.

The owner and his team were outstanding hosts throughout our stay. This property left a lasting impression on all of us and became one of the highlights of our Sicilian journey. A heartfelt thank you to Scent of Italy for creating such a memorable experience.
