If you are looking for a classy accommodation to enjoy a sun-and-sea holiday you will definitely fall in love with Villa Barbara, a holiday villa with pool just 800m far from the golden sandy beach of the fascinating ancient city of Marsala.
A beautiful modern holiday house surrounded by a picturesque citrus grove, equipped with modern refined furniture and providing plenty of space both inside and outside: the outside veranda is wide, cozy and provided with top-quality garden furniture, not to mention a really classy outdoor kitchen equipped with barbecue, wood oven and stove, perfect to enjoy a tasteful dinner under the porch in summer. In the garden you will also find the elegant saltwater pool and the solarium, what else could you ask to your next holiday home?
The property includes a main house and an annex.
The guests will have access to the sleeping area of the main house, including 2 double bedrooms with A/C, a twin bedroom A/C, a single bedroom with ceiling fan and 2 bathrooms.
The annex is finely furnished and full of light. It is provided with modern and stylish furniture: the kitchen is lovely, featuring a beautiful kitchen island and a rustic fireplace, and its glass doors lead to the large veranda. Behind the kitchen island, a glass sliding door separates this area from the laundry room.
A beautiful, tall beamed ceiling makes the whole room even more airy, fresh and original. Next to the kitchen you will find a living room with TV corner and double sofa bed; this room is connected with the veranda by a glass door too. A modern bathroom with shower is available as well, along with a room that has been turned into a walk-in closet.
A spiral staircase leads to the mezzanine, where the bedroom is set: a lovely tiny space with an intimate atmosphere, right under the exposed-beam ceiling and opening onto the living area.
Life “en plein air” is the most sought-for feature of a Sicilian holiday: Villa Barbara gives you the chance to experience it as much as you want. The beautiful veranda is spacious and equipped with lovely furniture, including a lounge area with armchairs and chaise-longue, a dining area with refined chairs and table, and a fully-equipped kitchen.
Spotlights on the floor will provide a unique atmosphere at night, and the citrus grove adds the final true Sicilian touch to the house.
The owner occasionally stays at the villa in a completely separate area with its own entrance.

Just 800m, the golden beach of Marsala is perfect for soaking up the sun and taking refreshing baths in the Mediterranean. Picturesque restaurants on the beach serve fresh fish and the most typical delicacies of the area, from fish couscous to the delicious red tuna from Favignana. The Aegadian Islands (Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo) with their idyllic landscapes and rocky cliffs can be reached from the port of the town: we definitely recommend a visit to these marvellous islands with a transparent crystal-clear sea (Europe’s largest marine reserve).
The little island of San Pantaleo, with astonishing ancient remaining of Mothia, a Phoenician city built during the 8th Century BC, is set within the marvellous Stagnone Nature Reserve: salt pans and romantic windmills create a really picturesque and wonderful scenario, best enjoyed at dusk.
The city of Marsala itself is quite noteworthy as well: a lovely historical centre with tiny winding streets studded with refined baroque palaces and churches, and quality restaurants and wineries serving the typical Marsala sweet wine and other local wines produced in the vineyards set on the pleasant hills surrounding the city.
Interesting landmarks and destinations can be easily reached from the villa: the elegant city of Trapani, the lovely hamlet of Erice and the archaeological parks of Segesta and Selinunte, as well as the world famous Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.
